The Springfield Park Memorial Site

The Springfield Park Memorial Site

The Springfield Park stand campaign is gathering momentum, it is being spearheaded by Wigan Athletic fans site Ye Old Tree and Crown in conjunction with and supported by all 'other` Latics fans sites and the 'committee` are working hard behind the scenes to put together a presentation to take to the powers that be at the Latics.

Now the Landlord of YOTAC has developed, I was going to say a website but nay more of a master piece entitled The Springfield Park Memorial and he is asking that Latics fans with memories and/or photographs of the 'old` place get in touch via the new web site.

The campaign is going well with very strong support not only from fans but also from with inside the club itself but the Landlord says 'lets not get complacent` and how right he is.

If the East stand is going to be renamed then Mr Whelan needs to know how passionate the fans feel about this and to this end lets all get behind the campaign, over to you Landlord:

"A lot more still needs to be done & we won`t be counting our chickens just yet nor will we become complacent, behind the scenes we are trying to put a coordinated professional presentation for the corridors of power at the club.

"However you can help us immensely if you have ANY reminisces of life before the JJB please feel free to post them here, at the YOTAC forums or at the excellent Springfield Park site forum."
