Curtis Obeng Star`s As Latics Reserves Win

Wigan Athletic Reserves beat Barrow 2-1 this afternoon at Holker Street and former Manchester City full back Curtis Obeng continued his trial with the Latics and had a great game in the process.

This was the second turn out in Latics colours for the young defender following his first appearance at Crewe where he played well and if he continues to show his current form he just might be offered a contract at the DW Stadium.

Lining up in the Barrow side was former Latics reserve team keeper Neil Postlethwaite who is trying to earn himself a contract with the Blue Square Conference club and also featuring for Barrow was former Latics forward Paul Tait.
