Wigan Athletic - Kapo Off To Nice?

Wigan Athletic and France international Olivier Kapo is reportedly the subject of a 1.3 million bid from French club Nice

The former Juventus player is currently sidelined with a knee injury but should be back to action within a the next three weeks and with the Latics overloaded in the midfield area this is an ideal opportunity to make some room by allowing the enigmatic 28 year old to leave.

Kapo has made no secret of his desire to get away from Wigan and he has spoken to the press on numerous occasions with his first rumblings within two weeks of him joining.

To recoup some cash on the 3 million that was paid to Birmingham for his services is appealing and getting one of the clubs top earners off the wage bill will also be beneficial.

bad news dont want this lad to go, great player if he is happy, and tbh he looks settled under bobby, hes worth alot more than 1.3 million and i would like him to stay. He could shine if he is happy !

Can't say I'm sorry to see him off though he may have done a bit better under Martinez.
