Wigan Athletic - Reserves Win at Leigh


Wigan Athletic reserves won their preseason friendly against neighbours Leigh Genesis of the Unibond League at Leigh Sports Village in a keenly contested game tonight.

The Latics trailed 1-0 at half-time with former Blackburn Rovers and Carlisle United striker Matt Jansen putting the Genesis ahead in front of 485 spectators.

Latics scored twice in the second half through Callum Williams and Daniel Redmond and ran out 2-1 winners.
