Carling Cup Round 2 Blackpool Vs Wigan Athletic


Wigan Athletic have been drawn away at Blackpool in round 2 of the Carling Cup

Following the 2005/06 final the Latics haven`t had much success in the Carling Cup and a run in this seasons competition would be very welcoming by the fans.

A tough encounter though at Bloomfield Road against our Championship neighbours who have the colourful Ian Holloway as manager awaits Roberto`s men and this tie cant be taken for granted.

Ties will be played the week commencing 24th August
