Vote For Your Latics Man of the Match

Wigan Athletic performed excellently yesterday in the 2-0 win against the Villa and the team as a whole were superb, but was there any single individual that stood out for you?

There is a poll on the bottom right side of this page that allows you to choose your man of the match from the game, a lot of people have been saying that Michael Brown was outstanding and I have to agree that he was, start to finish he had a fantastic game but for me his midfield partner Hendry Thomas just shaded it.

Considering it was the Hondurans Premier League debut and he`d only arrived back in the UK on Friday having flown from Honduras after taking part in their World Cup qualifying win over Costa Rica it was an exceptional performance.

He was strong, had vision, tackled, passed, shot and gave an all round solid performance, but this is about opinions and that`s mine, so who is your choice, simply select your option then hit the submit button it`s that easy.

congratulation on a great result yeaterday, you played very well. My concern for you guys in the long term would be you being able to hold onto what appears to be a very good manager

Thanks nigel-not-reo. Glad Carew didn't play lol. Don't ask any Swans fans about holding onto Martinez.
