Man of the Match - Hendry Thomas Gets It
Wigan Athletic debutant Hendry Thomas was voted the Latics Man of the Match in Saturdays opening game of the new Premier League campaign against Aston Villa by the visitors to Vital Wigan.
Thomas had a superb game in the middle of the park for the Latics and together with Michael Brown he formed the rock on which the game was won with a solid display of graft, skill and good vision.
Hugo Rodallega came in second in the poll and his stunning strike capped a great performance by the Colombia international.
