Latics To Face Olimpia in USA
Wigan Athletic will play a preseason friendly against Honduras club Deportivo Olimpia in Washington USA on 25th July 2010 it was announced yesterday.
Roberto Martinez confirmed the club are set to sign Olimpia player Oscar Boniek Garcia as reported here on Vital last week and he has also confirmed that the Latics will travel to the States to face our friends from Honduras, Olimpia in what should be the friendliest of friendlies.

Would love that...I have already asked the missus for permission and she says why not, plus its her birthday on the 26th July so would be a good way to celebrate and a great chance to meet up with some of our US based friends

I live in Alexandria City very very close to Washington DC, but my team in Honduras in Motagua, it is almost the enemy of Olimpia, but I'd like to see Maynor, Thomas and Garcia playing.

boniek wow hes great defensively like wilson even better..but he is very slim..so that's the only problem.but is very quick he moves up and down the flank like maicon.

when Honduras makes it to the world cup. every player will be eligible for a working permit in the uk. wigan should pick up young christian Martinez hes 18 he was in trial with cagliari and benfica..but wants playing time so hes back in Honduras..he was in the under 17 for Honduras played a great game against Spain in the world cup..hes similar to suazo actually the same type of player...hes gonna be worth the trouble.
