Latics Fans Are Angry

Following Wednesdays departure from the Carling Cup at the hands of Championship club Blackpool Vital Wigan wanted to gauge how the Latics fans felt so a poll was set up.

Now I know of one or two who I have thought were almost suicidal but the vast majority, according to the poll anyway, were left feeling angry, in fact 48% of those who voted said they were.

With the Latics 3-0 down after just 30 minutes it was almost inevitable that an exit from the cup was on the cards, not since the famous Wigan 5-3 Port Vale game of 1979 have we over come such a deficit to win a game and it wasn`t going to happen again 30 years later

Indeed even if Martinez` men had staged a remarkable come back many Latics fans would have missed as they left in their droves before half time such was the diabolical display from the team, even Bobby apologised for the performance saying it wasn`t acceptable, bit of an understatement.

Anyway it seems to have stirred the emotions in many of the Latics faithful and an angry bunch we are, here is the poll result:

Angry - 48%
Suicidal - 20%
Wait and see - 20%
Depressed - 6%
Not too bothered, the league matters 6%
