Roberto Martinez has labelled this game as a must win game for the Latics - I hotly dispute that as because teams can have a bad start as we have had, lets remember who we've played. A great win at Villa Park, a disappointing loss to Wolves and Man Utd and a fortunate win for Everton at Goodison Park rounded off a so-so month of football.
Now Gianfranco Zola brings up his Hammers outfit to the DW Stadium in the hope of pushing forward themselves but Latics are so desperate for the points to propel their own season and I think and fear that the Latics might get beaten as West Ham are a decent side and the Latics have a poor record against West Ham.
WIGAN: PLAYER TO WATCH: HUGO RODALLEGA
======================================
I think that Hugo Rodallega could score today as he's desperate to impress and has been unlucky in respects of late. He's a threat and West Ham will need to watch him.
WEST HAM: PLAYER TO WATCH: CARLTON COLE
=======================================
A menace and a minority at times, Carlton Cole blows hot and cold, but nevertheless he's a very good player and will cause teams this season all sorts of problems.
ROB'S PREDICTION
================
I ain't gonna bother watching Jeff and Co. on TV today so I'll find out the result later but I expect nothing less than a West Ham victory at the DW as they are a good side and difficult to beat. I think in time the Latics will get their season back on track but today it shant be, unfortunately. However I do think it'll be tight.
Wigan 0-1 West Ham
