Latics Macho Man


Wigan Athletic are giving a trial to Austrian goalkeeper Jurgen Macho and the 6`4" former Chelsea and Sunderland man will start in the nets for the reserves tonight against Manchester City at Robin Park Arena

Macho has been released by AEK Athens so he is a free agent and available to be signed outside the transfer window and boss Roberto Martinez is keen to bring in experienced cover for Chris Kirkland

The reserves tonight have a strong look about them and feature Modeste M`Bami who is also on trial, the full line up is:

Macho; Routledge, Buxton, Amaya, Mustoe; de Ridder, M'Bami, McCarthy, Bouaouzan; Kapo, King

Subs: Nicholls, Langley, Holt, Cywka, McManaman
