Figueroa Still On Sunderland Hit List
Wigan Athletic and Honduras left back Maynor Figueroa is still a wanted man by former Latics boss Steve Bruce and could make the switch to the North East in January says the Sun.
According to a report in the paper the Latics pulled the plug on the deadline day move only because we couldn`t get our target in and this clearly left Bruce frustrated with Sunderland allowing Danny Collins to leave for Stoke anticipating the arrival of Figueroa
Figueroa himself appears to have been effected by the speculation of the move and his performances this season have dipped dramatically from what Latics fans expect of the talented defender.
Figgy needs to buckle down over the next few weeks and get his form back putting any moves to the back of his mind; Bruce is an expert at unsettling players has he proved with Lee Cattermole but if Figueroa wants to be off them there is no point keeping him here
