Claim Your Free Child Ticket For The Chelsea Game

Wigan Athletic introduce a new ticketing initiative in time for this Saturday`s visit of Chelsea to the DW Stadium, The Big Ticket scheme will allow current adult season ticket holders the opportunity to receive up to SIX free child tickets this season.

Season Ticket Holders who apply for a free ticket for juniors can exchange their existing seat to enable the Season Ticket Holder to sit with the youngster they have invited.

The tickets will be made available for the South Stand of the DW Stadium as of the forthcoming home game versus Chelsea on Saturday 26th September (3pm kick off) and will then continue throughout the season at selected games. The South Stand also houses a dedicated kiosk for the Club`s younger fans.

The scheme is aimed at increasing attendances at the DW, filling the South Stand but more importantly building a new generation of fans that will follow the Latics in the future.

Latics Commercial Director Paul Hunt told Vital Wigan that it is important to make sure that season ticket holders don`t feel disadvantaged by any scheme to encourage new supporters and he believes the Big Ticket manages to do this, he said:

"We must strike a balance between encouraging new support and ensuring we do not disadvantage our Season Ticket Holders who have committed themselves to the Club for the full ten months of the season. I think we have managed to do this with the Big Ticket and we look forward to welcoming new young fans to the DW Stadium."

Season Ticket Holders should either collect an application form from the DW Stadium (Ticket Office, Club Shop or reception) or contact the Ticket Office on 0871 66 33 552.
