Wigan entertain Chelsea in what Roberto Martinez hopes will be the first ever scalp that the Latics will make over the Top 4. However, the recent meetings between the Latics and Chelsea doesn't make sweet reading.
Add to that a fully fit Chelsea with minimal injuries and you might find yourself thinking that this is going to be another day at the office for the Blues and I think it will be but at the same time, I do believe the Latics will be improved over their last dour effort against Arsenal.
For me, the Latics will put on a show in front of their fans and its true what Ancelotti says. The Latics have a good squad and play good football so I'm expecting an interesting game which Chelsea in my eyes should win but that would not be a disgrace by any means as they're one of the best teams in the world.
However, this is a true test of Latics mettle and whilst I hope and pray for a positive result against Ancelotti's blues, personally I can't see it but I think the Latics' performance will be brave and an improvement over last week's dire game.
WIGAN: PLAYER TO WATCH: HUGO RODALLEGA
=======================================
This man is eager to end Ancelotti's unbeaten run to the season so we may see a side to Rodallega we've not yet seen. I think he might score today.
CHELSEA: PLAYER TO WATCH: FRANK LAMPARD
=======================================
Has never failed to score against the Latics so he'll be a marked man today.
ROB'S PREDICTION
================
A solid effort from Wigan will be undone by a Chelsea team that sadly for Latics fans has that extra edge.
Wigan 1 Chelsea 3
ROB'S FINAL THOUGHT
===================
Why do the critics slate the Latics right now? We've got six points from seven very difficult games and that's not bad as its almost a point a game. Whilst I see another predictable outcome today, the Hull game should one we really should be eyeing. As long as the Latics put in a decent performance, I'll be pleased. See you all next time for Rob's Prediction.
