Wigan Athletics defeat at the KC Stadium against Hull City yesterday was very disappointing for many Latics fans especially after last weeks performance had so much promise, but a certain Roberto Martinez was also feeling a little down whilst his opposite number Phil Brown was obviously elated, both managers spoke to the press, lets see what they had to say:
Latics boss Roberto Martinez
'We came here on the back of a completely different game and we could tell that it was going to be very, very different'
'Concentration levels are vital in these sorts of games. You've got to be scrappy, we had a lot of possession and in that respect we expected that, but we let ourselves down.
'The hardest thing was probably to dictate the play and try to take the sting out of the performance of Hull City and we did that for long spells.
'Playing away from home, we looked quite comfortable and in that respect slowly we were growing into the game.'
'We're a lot better in possession and sharper than what we showed today. But the reality is we dropped our concentration in two particular moments and it really cost us.
'The two goals came from the two individual lapses in concentration but I thought as a team we weren't as concentrated as we should have been.'

Hull City boss Phil Brown
'It's a big three points for everyone's confidence and everyone's mentality.
'Is it a relief? No. Joy springs to mind but I don't feel relief. It's more that I'm pleased for the players.'
'We had to get back to the basics of being difficult to play against. It is getting both ends of the field right and we got the majority right.'
