Marlon, The King of Queens

Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King is attracting the interest of Championship club Queens Park Rangers who, according to that font of all football knowledge, the Daily Mail, are considering taking the former Watford, Nottingham Forest and Gillingham man on loan.

London born King appears surplus to requirements at the DW Stadium and hasn`t made a Premier League start for the Latics this season though he did make a substitute appearance in the last two games against Hull and Chelsea

King has had an unhappy stint in Lancashire and a move south would certainly appeal to the Jamaica international and QPR boss Jim Magilton would love to take him to Loftus Road as he bids to turn the West London side into promotion contenders.
