Following the game at Turf Moor between Burnley and Wigan Athletic both bosses Owen Coyle and Latics Roberto Martinez spoke to the press about the game, lets see what they had to say:
Latics boss Roberto Martinez
'It's a very tough place. We all know the record Burnley's got at home'
'Not just this season, over the last few campaigns so (I'm) very, very pleased with the overall performance and obviously with the result.'
'I think it is credit to Burnley, the way they get the results. They're really, really sharp, probably we switched off at a throw-in and they took advantage of it for Fletcher to score'
'But it was great to see that reaction, I think it was a real test in the first half and I felt that we played probably our best football in that period after we conceded and that was very pleasing.
'But then a couple of problems that we had through injury and you're looking at the overall performance.
'We've been able to adjust and we've been able to finish the game really, really strong and to do that at Turf Moor speaks volumes of the performance of the players.'
'We still are in that transitional period'
'We've got players that are coming from the Championship, players from the second division in Spain.
'It's a new group and it's going to take time individually adapting to the demands of the Premiership and as a collective we're still doing that
'But when you've got that attitude that you want to gel in, you want to work hard for each other, you can see that the level of performance we've been showing, consistently, is very pleasing.'
Burnley boss Owen Coyle
'I think if you lose any game it's disappointing.
'We had numerous opportunities and started the game really well.
'We conceded a truly bizarre equaliser and my recollection is that Brian came for it and twisted his ankle in the process.
'You can prepare your team all week, but something like that is an uncontrollable.
I have been there and their player is not to know what's happening.
'If chances like that are there you have to take them. I'm not sure if Brian has come, then stopped and pushed off, but there was no danger and that's the galling thing.'
