Paul Merson Heaps Praise On The Latics
Sky Sports pundit and ex-Arsenal, Aston Villa and Portsmouth favourite Paul Merson was full of praise for Wigan Athletic following the emphatic 3-1 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor today.
The former England player watched and provided analysis on the game and when questioned by host Jeff Stelling about how good the Latics are Merson replied: "Very impressive"
Now Merson isn`t one for dishing out compliments and his comments about Roberto Martinez` side is high praise indeed and he was clearly impressed with what he saw today.
