Latics Man of the Match - Hugo Rodallega

Wigan Athletic two goal hero Hugo Rodallega was voted the Vital Latics Man of the Match in Saturdays game against Burnley away at Turf Moor.

Hugo was in fantastic form and scored the equalising goal on 11 minutes then five minutes into the second half he put the Latics in front with a great strike with the outside of his right boot from 18 yards after a great lay-off by Jason Scotland.

Rodallega though gave a lot more to the side than just his two goals and his all round play was fantastic, he caused the Burnley defence to have a torrid afternoon with his movement and support of the front-line.

With 71% of the total vote it is apparent that the vast majority of Latics fans felt that the Colombian hit man was head and shoulders above everyone else, I thought he looked a class apart, great game Hugo.

Personally I am really excited about where Roberto is taking us, I know he is working hard to alter the total structure of the place from how we recruit kids for the youth set up to the playing style of the first team.
