Marlon King Gets 18 Months and the Sack!

Marlon King Gets 18 Months and the Sack!

Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King has been sentenced to 18 month imprisonment at Southwark Crown court after being found guilty of Sexual Assault and Actual Bodily Harm to a 20 year old woman in a London night club last year.

King who was on loan to Hull City at the time of the incident is now facing the sack from the Latics with club chairman telling Sky Sports News that Wigan have been trying to off load King for over a year now and that he sat him down at the start of the season and said this is your last chance.

Whelan says he feels let down and that King as no future at the Latics and doubts he will have a future in the game after this incident.

The sad thing is, is that someone will give him a contract. Everyone seems to have conveniently forgotten what Lee Hughes did.
