Lawro Predicts - Pompey Vs Latics

Lawro Predicts - Pompey Vs Latics

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that the game between Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic at Fratton Park will end in a home win, lets see what his reasons are:

Portsmouth v Wigan

I feel sorry for Paul Hart, every time Portsmouth look to be moving on there has been a kick in the teeth. On the field they have been playing better than results suggest.

Wigan are big, strong and in your face but they still try and play, though away from home they have not totally convinced.

Verdict: 2-1

Well once again I find that I am disagreeing with Lawro`s prediction on the Latics, he appears to continually go for the home side in so called like for like fixtures, it didn`t work for him last week with our win at Burnley and it wont work with our visit to Pompey, 1-2 Latics away win is my prediction.

I think you will see a totally different game this week from a Portsmouth side who are playing well but just not getting the luck in front of goal,we were good on tuesday and Paul hart has some big selection headaches because of that game. Play Up Pompey!
