Latics Right To Sack King Say Fans

Latics Right To Sack King Say Fans

Wigan Athletic are right to sack disgraced player Marlon King according to the vast majority who took part in Vital Latics latest poll with a whopping 96% saying Yes - absolutely.

There was much debate when Kings verdict was announced in court last week but there was no debate whatsoever from Latics chairman Dave Whelan who came out and said that he was serving 14 days notice on Marlon King, has he is required to do and then terminating the players contract, King was sacked.

With multi-million pound contracts and astronomical transfer fees for Premier League players it was a bold decision taken by the club, there is even precedent of other cases, Joey Barton, Tony Adams and others, who have been convicted, served their time and then taken back by their clubs so with the Latics taking a stand Vital thought it would be a good idea to see what the fans thought and with 96% agreeing absolutely there is evidence enough that the club acted in the right and proper manner.

Fans Forum Ticket Competition
