Following yesterdays entertaining game at the DW Stadium between Wigan Athletic and Fulham, both managers, Roberto Martinez and Roy Hodgson spoke to the press, lets see what they had to say:
Latics boss Roberto Martinez:
'The result was not what we wanted, but overall I was delighted with the performance
'I was looking for a reaction after what happened last weekend at Portsmouth, and I got that with the composure we showed and the amount of chances we created.
'For Mark Schwarzer to have been the man of the match, that shows you how well we played.
'Fulham are a well-organised side, but we knew they had huge demands in travelling to Roma in midweek, and that they would probably try to be a little negative, and hit us on the counter.
'That is always dangerous, you can get frustrated, and for some stages the crowd maybe felt that which made it even harder for our players.
'But I thought we took responsibility, we got on the ball, we were patient when we had to be and we created enough chances to have won the game.
'With the way Fulham play, and their two banks of four, we had to use the full width of the pitch and try to get one-on-one situations in wide areas.
'We did that really well which is why we created so many chances.'
'The goal conceded came from a free kick that was not a free kick, which is disappointing, but overall I was pleased.
'If we play like that every week, out of 10 games you will win nine and draw the other - and that performance level is what we want to repeat next week and carry on striving for the consistency that our play deserves.'

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson:
'I am pleased with the point because we had to dig deep for the point today'
'I think many a team when they went one goal to nil down here at Wigan would have maybe crumbled or maybe thought the gods were against us, but we certainly didn't do that.
'We kept fighting and I think we created enough goal chances in the game to more than justify the 1-1 scoreline.'
'Mark Schwarzer had to be at his best today to make sure we didn't go even further behind,'
'He was fantastic he really was. Kirkland made two or three incredible saves at the other end so it's quite strange, a 1-1 game could have easily been 3-3 today because I think both teams gave it their best shot to score goals.
'But the defences and in particular the goalkeepers, they're the ones who are going to take the plaudits."
