Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez reckons his summer acquisition from Spanish 2nd division club Rayo Vallecano, Momo Diame, has got it all.
Speaking to the press following yesterdays game at the DW Stadium where Diame gave another very impressive display Martinez compared the 22 year old with former France and Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira.
Martinez says that like Vieira, Diame has power, quality and composure and at 22 the sky is the limit for the player who nearly had to give the game up for health reasons. The French born midfield man could turn out to be the find of the season, and the fee that the Latics paid Vallecano, just over £2 million, the bargain of the season.
Martinez says: 'It's rare to find someone with power, true quality and composure on the ball, Patrick Vieira had that.
'Playing in Spain allowed Momo to be a little bit different and when he fully understands the nature of the British game he will be a special player in the Premier League.
'He's only 22 and he's still adapting to the British game but he's someone who can go as high as he wants to go.'
