Wigan Athletic - QPR Want Watson Stay

QPR boss Jim Magilton is looking to extend the loan deal with Wigan Athletic midfield man Ben Watson until the end of the season but he says he would love to sign him on a permanent transfer.

Watson has been at Lotus Road since August, initially on a four month loan spell but he has made a big impression in West London and in 10 appearances he has scored 2 goals with boss Magilton keen to keep the 23 year old on board, speaking to the BBC Magilton said: 'I'd like to keep Ben at the club'

'If we can keep him until the end of the season or do a deal to sign him then I'd be delighted.

'It's something we'll leave to the money men. I definitely want him.

'He's a player I rate highly. He is energetic, keen and ambitious.'

Yeah his goals were class, as well as his freekick against Arsenal. Bruce wanted Cattermole and Brown to play together.
