Reserves Take Young Side To Sunderland

Reserves Take Young Side To Sunderland

Wigan Athletic have named a relatively young and inexperienced reserve side for tonights trip to the North East to face Sunderland in a Barclays Premier League Reserve North fixture at Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground.

Back in August a Liam Noble goal gave Sunderland a 1-0 win in the reverse fixture at Robin Park Arena so Graham Barrow`s young charges will be looking to address that deficit but will face Premier League hot-shot Kenwyne Jones who is returning following a 3 match suspension, also in the Sunderland team is Daryl Murphy.

Sunderland:

Carson, Weir, Liddle, Reed, Anderson, Kay, O'Donovan, Meyler, Jones, Ryan Noble, Murphy,

Subs: Brown, Wilson, Liam Noble, Tounkara, Cornforth

Latics:

Nicholls; Kupisz, Barnett, Langley, McCarten, Routledge, Cywka, Nolan, McManaman, Holt, Mustoe

Subs: Williams, Redmond, Codlin, Crane, Jukes

Kick-off 7pm, admission free for Sunderland season ticket holders
