Moses Barnett on Trial At Wigan Athletic


Moses Barnett the former Everton and Arsenal youth player is currently on trial at Wigan Athletic and featured in the reserves game at Sunderland.

Barnett who will be 19 on Thursday spent seven years coming through the Arsenal academy before joining Everton in 2007,

The defender has played 4 games for Darlington on loan this season and is comfortable at either left back or centre back, Barnett was born in Sierra Leone but has represented England at under 16, under 17 and under 18 level.



T-Shirt Competition

Vital Wigan are running a competition for three lucky members to receive a Latics WN1 T-Shirt signed by the boss himself Roberto Martinez.

I recall him being one picked out for the future, Arsenal were quite miffed when he went to Everton, I seem to remember reading he went to Goodison because they do quite well with the young ones, maybe he's just slipped through the net
