Sunderland Reserves 3-0 Latics Reserves

Graham Barrow`s Wigan Athletic reserve side lost 3-0 tonight against Sunderland in a Barclays Premier League Reserve North fixture, with young Sunderland forward Ryan Noble grabbing a first half hat-trick.

Two of Noble`s goals came from the penalty spot but that will be of no consolation for the Latics as they face the long trip home still sitting bottom of the reserve league table.

Former Arsenal and Everton academy player Moses Barnett featured for the Latics as he continues his trial at the club and he looked a class above according to reports.

Attendance 458 which included 3 hardy Latics fans
