Latics Man of the Match - Maynor Figueroa

Maynor Figueroa was named the Vital Latics Man of the Match following the Stoke City Vs Wigan Athletic 2-2 draw at the weekend.

The Honduras international had a great game and scored what can only be described as a wonder goal, he`s definitely gotten over his knee injury, that`s for sure. Solid in defence and supporting the attack at every opportunity, a great game from Figgy.

The voting went:

Maynor Figueroa - 57%
Momo Diame - 11%
Paul Scharner - 6%

The new poll is available for you to vote in and is situated on the right side of this page, it is asking what you think the result will be on Wednesday in the game at Anfield between Liverpool and the Latics

To participate just select your option and then hit the submit button, its that easy.

Yeah, I think the goal did it, but to be honest he won't do it every week but a class one off goal for Figgy. I also think boycy's goal was terrific and very brave. They are the hardest fought for goals, most likely to count this season. Great attitude and well done to the lad.

Yup. I'd have let Jason Scotland take the pen. That's two in a row, Hugo has shot straight down the middle. I'm hoping he won't a 3rd time.
