Court Case Due

Wigan Athletic's court case against the Greater Manchester Police will start in the next 6 months.

The case relates to the police charges for matches during the Coca-Cola Championship season 2004/05.

At the AGM Latics Chief Executive Brenda Spencer said that the charges for this year's policing were far more reasonable after the head of Wigan Police had been replaced by a new man, which makes our case for the previous year a lot stronger.

Good luck to you and the club. The police are all too good at messing with football, and it certainly seemed as though they were taking the mickey over their costs.
