Wigan Athletic - Cho Set For Loan

Wigan Athletic and South Korea midfield man Cho Won-Hee is set to go out on loan in a bid to improve his form and fitness levels with a Championship club the intended destination.

Since joining the Latics last March Cho has yet to make a Premier League start and Latics boss Roberto Martinez has apparently agreed to let him go out on loan in order to get some match time.

With the midfield mans place in the South Korea squad also dependent on him being fit ahead of next summers World Cup finals it would suit all parties for a loan deal to be sorted as soon as possible.

The players agency, Tenplus Sports say: 'Cho and Martinez have agreed that it would be best if he leaves to join another team on a loan deal'

'Martinez wants Cho to improve his form and fitness before he could consider giving him more playing time, while Cho is keen to get on the pitch on a more regular basis.

'We are looking for a club for him to join, and we believe a team in the English Championship would suit him best.'

I'm disappointed that we never got to see much of him. Not looking like he has much of a future here.
