Lawro Predicts - Latics Vs Blackburn

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that the game between Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers on Boxing Day at the DW Stadium will end in a…..wait for it…home win, lets see what his reasons are:

Wigan v Blackburn
I'm never really sure which Wigan team is going to turn up for any given game - and I don't mean in terms of the personnel that Roberto Martinez selects.

Blackburn are going through a dip in form. They don't lose many at home but failed to trouble Tottenham at Ewood Park in their last game.

As with Burnley versus Bolton, I reckon this could be another feisty Lancashire derby.

Verdict: 2-1

I also predict a 2-1 home win for the Latics, 'tis the season to be jolly
