Ben Watson To Go Out On Loan Again

Wigan Athletic midfield man Ben Watson is due to return from a loan spell with Championship club QPR any day soon and Latics boss Roberto Martinez says that he could be allowed to go out once more with a number of clubs showing interest.

Watson has had a successful time in West London and former QPR boss Jim Magilton was looking to sign the 23 year old on a permanent deal but Magilton left and now Paul Hart is in charge things aren`t as cut and dried, Martinez said: 'We're going to speak with Ben as soon as his loan finishes and we'll decide how he feels about the whole situation'

'We had a few other clubs that approached us with the idea of having Ben.

'The most important thing is to see how he has developed since he has been at QPR and we'll make a decision then.'

Watson has not had a successful spell at Loftus Road - believe me! He has played two decent games for us, away to Newcasle and away to West Brom - otherwise he has been not just anonymous but actually harmful to our efforts. He gives the ball away too cheaply, bottles easy tackles, doesn't move himself so that, if the ball isn't played exactly to where he is standing, he doesn't try to go get the ball. As far as probably every single QPR fan is concerned - you are welcome to him back!

Jezza99 - QPR fan - if you think watson has been successful at QPR then you really are delluded. Sent off twice, booed by QPR fans as he cannot be bothered half the time. If that's the sort of players you want - then you are going down.
