Jason Roberts MBE - Congratulations
Former Wigan Athletic star Jason Roberts has been awarded an MBE in the Queens New Years Honours List for services to sport.
The ex-Latics player now of course with Lancashire neighbours Blackburn Rovers receives his award for his work in encouraging children in both the UK and the Caribbean to participate in football, in Grenada he is worshiped for all his charity work with underprivileged kids, he recently set up the Jason Roberts Foundation which is geared towards getting young people off the streets and into sport (football specifically).
Congratulations on a thoroughly deserving award Jason from all at Vital Wigan
