Wigan Athletic - Gohouri Takes the Trial
As previously reported here on Vital Latics, Wigan Athletic are interested in signing Ivory Coast international defender Steven Lohoré Gohouri and are set to offer the former Borussia Munchengladbach defender a trial at the club.
Gohouri, who is 28 years old has been released from his contract with Munchengladbach and was in talks over a possible move to Championship club Barnsley but the appeal of possible Premier League football with the Latics has persuaded the 2 capped international to chance his arm at the DW Stadium.

He's about average from what I've read about him but anything must be better than our poor defence at the moment. Under Bruce, it was good. Under Martinez, it has been shocking. We've conceded 44 goals this season and that's just insulting to the fans.
