Martinez Drools Over N'Zogbia

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez spoke highly of Latics attacking midfield man Charles N`Zogbia following his match winning performance against Hull City in the FA cup 3rd round game at the DW Stadium yesterday.

N`Zogbia was on the bench for the first half but replaced the ineffective Jason Koumas at half time and with in two minutes of coming on he`d scored a fantastic goal to put the Latics back on level terms in the game.

Little Charlie went on to have a storming 2nd half and ripped the Hull City defence apart with pace and skill, he scored his second goal of the game to put the Latics 3-1 up on 66 mins, a fantastic display of attacking football which obviously pleased his manager.

Speaking about N`Zogbia Martinez drooled: 'Charlie is a world-class player. I think this season we have seen consistency in his play and that is very pleasing.

'Three games in a week is hugely demanding and today the role Charlie had to play was fantastic."

"He played fantastically well and made a huge difference. His attitude was very good and his football is something the fans would pay money to watch."
