Sunderland Baulk At Figueroa Fee
Sunderland are ready to pull the plug on their attempts to sign Wigan Athletic left back Maynor Figueroa because they cant have him on the cheap.
Steve Bruce is said to be left fuming by the fact that the Latics now want £8 million for a player that he thought he had a deal agreed for £6 million back in the summer and he is threatening to go else where.
Good, Figgy is our player on a big fat contract with three years still to run on it, if Roberto Martinez thinks he is worth £8 million then that is his prerogative not Steve Bruces.
