Olivier Kapo Joins Boulogne

Olivier Kapo Joins Boulogne

Wigan Athletic have finally got shut of Olivier Kapo, well until the end of the season at least as the France international, yeah I know hard to believe isn`t it, joined French 1st division club Boulogne on a 6 month loan deal.

Speaking on joining the French strugglers Kapo says he is delighted to be back in the mix, he told the Boulogne official website: 'I want to fight like I did at Wigan. I look forward to getting back playing and getting the smell of victory with Boulogne '.

'I am fortunate that a first division club gave me a chance and that`s why I had no hesitation in signing. I don`t know too much about the club, but speaking to the players they all have only good things to say. I did not hesitate long before signing. '

'I really hope that we will stay in the division. We're only three points from Saint-Etienne. I am very happy to be here.'

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
