Daniel de Ridder Set To Leave Wigan Athletic

Wigan Athletic player Daniel de Ridder is being linked with a move to Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv. De Ridder holds an Israeli passport and he is a Holland under 21 international.

The attacking midfield man is yet to feature under current Latics boss Roberto Martinez and with just 18 appearances for the club since joining in July 2008 he has been a disappointment to most Latics fans who have been hoping for much more from the player.

One of former manager Steve Bruce`s early signings, de Ridder will be looking away from the Latics to resurrect his playing career as he obviously does not feature at all in Martinez` plans.
