Latics Set To Do The Hokey Cokey?

Latics Set To Do The Hokey Cokey?

Wigan Athletic, along with Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Hull City are being linked with a move for Aston Villa midfield man Nigel Reo-Coker.

The former England under-21 captain had a very public spat back in September with Villa boss Martin O`Neill and although it is now all said to be water under the bridge O`Neill wouldn`t mind the funds Reo-Coker`s sale would generate to spend himself.

In and out of the Villa side this season the former West Ham player may well have to move on to establish himself as a regular Premier League starter, it is reported that Blackburn have already made enquiries and the Latics could be about to do the same.

He would be a quality signing, giving a bit of english grit to the midfield like brown and catts rolled into one.

I will drive him wherever he needs to go for anything more than £6m. I cant fault his energy and effort, but he isnt as talented footballer as people have made him out to be. Nothing against Coker but he gives the ball away to much, and isnt a great passer.
