Wigan Athletic - Next Arrival Imminent


Wigan Athletic are said to be very close to completing the signing of an unnamed long term target and with just formalities to sort out there should be an unveiling early next week.

Word from the DW Stadium is that the deal to bring the player in is nearing completion but no clues as to the identity or position of the player have been revealed.

It is no secret though that the Latics are desperately seeking a forward and recently have been linked with Scott McDonald and Kris Boyd from Glasgow clubs Celtic and Rangers plus Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo has also been very much in Roberto Martinez` sights.

Roberto Martinez is determined to re-shape the Latics into the side that plays his particular brand of football and he has stated that there will be up to seven players coming in during the January transfer window
