Steve Gohouri Starts Tonight For Latics Reserves

Wigan Athletic reserves are back in action against Bolton Wanderers tonight at Robin Park Arena following a lengthy lay-off since the 3-0 defeat away to Sunderland back on 1st December.

Graham Barrow`s team will see the inclusion of first team member Erik Edman and making his first appearance in a Latics shirt new signing Steven Gohouri

Latics boss Roberto Martinez says it is good to get the reserves playing again and he is looking forward to seeing Gohouri play, Martinez told the official website: 'Obviously we've all suffered a bit with the weather, and the fixtures for the reserves have been off for a while'

'It's important now, after a bit of a breather, to see them back in action in an exciting game, and obviously it'll be good to see Steve (Gohouri) get some game-time. He'll be looking to get up to full fitness alongside Erik (Edman), and it'll be ideal for them to experience an 11 v 11 situation.'

Latics team for tonights game:

Nicholls; Mustoe, McCarten, Gohouri, Edman; Routledge, Holt; Cywka, Kupisz, Bouaouzan; McManaman

Subs: Williams, Buxton, Redmond, Jukes, Rugg

As usual kick off at 7 pm and admission is £4:20 adults, £2:25 concessions
