What The Boss Says - Notts County Vs Latics

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has spoken about tomorrows FA cup opponents Notts County and he says that the Latics will need to be at their best if they are to progress in the competition.

Speaking to the clubs official website Martinez says that home advantage will spur on Notts County and that they have some talented individuals in their side, Martinez said: 'We all know the magic of the cup will be there on Saturday, and the home team always gets that little bit of extra momentum with the crowd behind them'

'As we all know they have a new project taking place there at the moment, and they have certain individuals that make them better than the level they're playing at.

'They've shown that in a one-off game like this they can beat anyone, they have a certain pattern to their play, try to play the game in the right manner and that's refreshing to see.

'I'm sure Notts County will achieve their aims very soon and we'll have to be aware of them this weekend.'
