Lawro Predicts - Blackburn Rovers Vs Latics

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that the game between Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic tomorrow (Wednesday) at Ewood Park will end in a home win for Rovers, lets see what his reasons are:

Blackburn v Wigan

Blackburn are under a bit of pressure at the moment. However, their last home Premier League game was a 2-0 win over Fulham, so that should offer some encouragement to Sam Allardyce and his side.

At the risk of boring everyone to death, you are never quite sure what sort of Wigan performance to expect.

They were absolutely atrocious against Notts County in the first half, but pulled it back to force a replay.

I think Blackburn's physical and aerial presence will be too good for Wigan but it will be interesting to see what sort of crowd numbers we will see at Ewood Park. They have been poor of late.

Verdict: 2-1

Well Lawro I disagree with you, the Latics had a great performance away at Wolves and made eight changes for the Notts County game, Martinez will have his strongest available side out and I can see a victory being snatched from the jaws of a draw, Rovers 1-2 Latics

scotland wont score! however depends what tactics we play, if we go 4 - 4- 2 i can see us winning, however if sam goes with his trusted hoofball play then we will get battered.
