Thompson And Jackson Offered Deals

Wigan Athletic club captain Matt Jackson and midfielder David Thompson have both been offered new deals by Latics manager Paul Jewell.

Matt Jackson has signed a 1 year contract but former Blackburn Rovers player David Thompson has turned down the offer of another short-term deal and will look around for a new club.

Former Liverpool and Celtic central defender Stephane Henchoz is out of contract and won't be offered a new deal.
