Wigan Ahletic - Last MinuteTargets Identified


Wigan Athletic are being linked with three players as the transfer deadline quickly approaches and a last minute deal is apparently not out of the question.

With Victor Moses signed up Latics boss Roberto Martinez would still like to add to his squad and three possible incomings are Swansea midfield man Leon Britton, who is out of contract in the summer and as shown little indication of renewing at the Liberty Stadium, he`s been linked with a move to the DW for a while now.

Seville forward Arouna Kone is a possible loan target and his name has been banded about for the past few days, the Ivory Coast striker made a name for himself at PSV Eindhoven where he grabbed the headlines with 21 goals in 53 appearances for the Dutch club though he has found scoring a little more difficult in La Liga with just a solitary goal in 39 games, remind you of anyone?

Cristian Riveros is the third possible, he is a Paraguay international currently playing for Mexican club Cruz Azul, he is a left sided midfielder and a prominent member of the Paraguay team that qualified at a saunter for the World Cup finals, he has 43 caps for his country scoring 8 goals, Riveros has apparently been `offered` to the Latics, whatever that means.

With little over 18 hours to go all will be revealed soon, always exciting rarely fulfilling, thats dedline day
