Lawro Predicts - Latics Vs Stoke

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that the game between Wigan Athletic and Stoke City at the DW Stadium will end in an away win for Stoke, lets see what his reasons are:

Wigan Vs Stoke

Stoke are on a six-game unbeaten run including their cup form and had a superb 3-0 win over Blackburn on Saturday.

They have adjusted to life in the Premier League and look very strong at the moment, with plenty of different options for manager Tony Pulis.

It is almost impossible to gauge what Wigan team is going to turn up for any given fixture.

Verdict: 1-2

Wow Lawro, the Latics played well on Saturday and created chances against a physical and defensive Sunderland side, we will be facing similar in Stoke and home advantage will tell, a comfortable 2-0 home win for the Latics is on the cards for me.
