Koumas Set For West Brom Loan Move?

Koumas Set For West Brom Loan Move?

According to reports West Bromwich Albion are considering taking Wigan Athletic midfield man Jason Koumas on loan for the rest of the season as the Baggies prepare to make a final assault on automatic promotion.

The Latics signed Koumas from West Brom in July 2007 for a then club record £5.3 million but the enigmatic star never fulfilled his potential and turned out to be an expensive flop making just 54 appearances for the club.

The 30 year old retired from international football this season so that he could concentrate on his club football, its clearly helped as the former Wales international has made 8 starts and 2 substitute appearances.

Reputed to be one of the top earners at the DW Stadium it is envisaged that the Latics would be only too willing to allow Koumas to rejoin West Brom or any other club for that matter.

Hopefully he will discover some form in the ccc and some club will decide to take him off our hands permanently.

He is awesomely poor and consistently uninterested since we paiid a club record fee for him...a total waste of a talented footballer who has lacked motivation throughout his career
