Newcastle Join West Brom in Koumas Battle

Newcastle Join West Brom in Koumas Battle

Its being reported in the Sun that Newcastle United have joined the race to take Wigan Athletic midfield man Jason Koumas on loan until the end of the season.

It has been circulated that Latics boss Roberto Martinez will allow Koumas to go out on loan and the former Wales internationals old club West Brom are the front runner for his temporary signature but Newcastle just might have put a spanner in the works.

The Geordies want Koumas to join his former Latics team mates Ryan Taylor and Fitz Hall at St. James' Park and Chris Hughton is keen to take the 30 year old up to the North East.

So it appears that not only are West Brom and Newcastle in a race against each other to get out of the Championship, they are set to battle it out for the services of Jason Koumas

He can pick a pass, has good skills on the ball but he appears to be completely uninterested and he is lazier than me and I'm the laziest man in the world
