Roberto`s Favourite Pie is a Meat 'n Tatty

Roberto`s Favourite Pie is a Meat 'n Tatty

During the now well publicised meeting between Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez and the six hairy editors on Thursday the Latics gaffer revealed that his favourite Wigan delicacy is a meat and potato pie.

What a coincidence, with this being National Pie Week I thought it would be an idea to run a 'favourite pie` poll and low and behold the choice of the Vital Latics poll voters matches that of our illustrious leader a Meat and Potato.

For the record the voting was:

Meat and Potato - 36%
Chunky Steak - 34%
Chicken Balti - 18%

The talk of Pie Week and I am immediately thrown back in time to last year when Wigan was challenged as the pie capital of the world, check out this article Wigan Challenged For Pie Crown

The new poll is now available on the right side of this page and it is asking who we think will win Monday nights game between the Latics and Liverpool, personally I think we are about to shock the pundits and some of our own fans and grab all three points.

Talking to some friends who are season ticket holders at Anfield they tell me that Liverpool are not a very good side and we shouldn`t be too afraid, add to that the pitch being sorted in our favour and I think we just might cause an upset with a win.

To vote in the poll select your option and then hit the submit button, its that simple.
